Dwayne Charette was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Airbus Helicopters Canada in May 2018. In his role he is responsible for the overall performance of Airbus Helicopters Canadian operations. Mr. Charette began his career with Airbus Helicopters in 2003. He was appointed Director of Global Supply Chain & Manufacturing in 2011, a role that encompassed overall responsibility for the manufacturing and distribution of products produced within Canada and later encompassed the harmonization of regional activities between manufacturing sites located in the Canada and the United States. During this time he also led multiple work transfer packages throughout North America and Europe.
Prior to joining the aerospace industry, Mr. Charette held several positions with large OEMs within the automotive and appliance sector.
Mr. Charette is a graduate of the Ivey Executive Program (Western University) and holds the professional designation of Certified Supply Chain Management (CSCMP).
In addition to the OAC Mr. Charette also serves as a member of the advisory committee for the Niagara Region’s Economic Development Group. He previously served as a Director on the Board of the Niagara Industrial Association and a member of the advisory committee for Niagara College’s Advanced Manufacturing & Innovation Center.
