You might find yourself busier than ever as your organization adapts and changes to navigate the impacts of COVID-19.I wanted to see if you’d benefit from hiring a student or team of students to advance your work in these uncertain times?

With unprecedented amounts of funding and flexibility to hire students on your terms, timeline and budget, this may be a great time for you to consider it.And I’m here to help you through the process.

Working on strengthening your online presence?

Hundreds of our students are registered for a new series of courses to expand their skill set in digital and video marketing, sales, problem solving and web design. They’re ready to support your business, whether you’ve got an established digital platform, recently gone digital or are planning to soon.

The government is offering substantial financial support for hiring co-op students.

You might be eligible for up to $5,000 - $7,000 per co-op student you hire through the Student Work Placement Program (SWPP).

Up to 75% of this funding may be provided in advance– reducing your up-front hiring costs.

You can also ‘stack’ SWPP funding with the Provincial Tax Credits.

We’ve made some changes to our processes to add in flexibility and support for employers who are hiring at this time. Employers now have the option to hire our co-op students for shorter periods of time (as little as 8 weeks) to accommodate your budget and workload- remotely or on-site.

Whether you’re looking to fill communications, engineering, IT or science roles, our co-op students are still available and can be hired immediately.
