Ernie is founder and President of Lynch Dynamics Inc., an entity within  the Lynch Group of Companies. This company is dedicated to servicing the aerospace, defense and medical markets. Ernie’s energy and entrepreneurial spirit has resulted in the Lynch Group being recognized as a role model for Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) competing globally in over 55 countries. The one-man start-up in Etobicoke in 1987 has mushroomed into a staff of nearly one hundred employees working within state-of-the-art engineering and manufacturing facilities in Meadowvale. In today’s dynamic global markets, Ernie’s vision of custom engineering solutions, automation and cutting edge technology has enabled the company to retain its competitive edge within the hydraulic motion control world.

Ernie was recently nominated as a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2013 Ontario in the Cleantech and Manufacturing category. He was honored the Centennial College 2011 Alumnus of Distinction, is currently a Director with the Ontario Aerospace Council and on the  SME Advisory Board to Foreign Affairs Canada. He previously served as a Director of the National Fluid Power Association and the Canadian Fluid Power Association.
