Halifax, Nova Scotia, April 6, 2020 Carl Kumpic, Acting Chair of the Board for the Atlantic Canada Aerospace and Defence Association (ACADA), is pleased to announce that Ms. Carole Lee Reinhardt will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective April 13, 2020.

“Carole Lee has over two decades of leadership and management experience with deep expertise in government relations, economic development, policy and governance, and strategic planning and brings a strong understanding of the aerospace and defence sector to her new role as CEO. We look forward to working with Carole Lee and are excited by what her leadership will bring to our member-driven association and this sector,” said Mr. Kumpic.

Ms. Reinhardt served as Vice-President of the not-for-profit association of Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters CME – Nova Scotia, CEO for the South Shore Regional Enterprise Network, Director of Investment for Aerospace and Defence with the Government of Nova Scotia, among other leadership roles.  Additionally, she is a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Dalhousie University.
