Aviation Mission to Dubai Airshow

The Ontario Ministry of International Trade in partnership with the Canadian Consulate in Dubai will be organizing an Ontario Aviation mission to DUBAI AIRSHOW 2017, which will be held in Dubai, UAE, November 12-16, 2017.

DUBAI AIRSHOW is one of the largest and most important aerospace events in the world, connecting aerospace professionals across all areas of the industry to facilitate successful global trade, with over1,103 exhibitors from 63 countries, and over 66,346 trade visitors. Dubai Airshow creates a world class exhibition showcasing the latest and greatest in military, general and commercial aviation: http://www.dubaiairshow.aero/

The Middle East is set to be the fastest-growing region of the world for the airline industry this year, with the highest growth in terms of both new airline capacity and revenue passenger kilometres. There are more than $100bn-worth of airport-related projects planned and underway across the MENA region; the biggest markets in terms of airport projects are the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. In the next 20 years, the UAE’s aviation sector is expected to stand next to that of the US and China.

The purpose of the mission is to help Ontario companies promote their products and services, meet key business players, governmental stakeholders and business associations from aerospace sector.
